Level Cap going to 40 and much more?!

We are looking into several new and exciting things for you old timers with ER4s and tons of XP.

1) Creating new Epic Feats that can be purchased with Wish Shards and requiring so much XP over 10 million XP. Aghost is coming up with some great ideas and will be posting the design plans before we develop them. Basically from 10 million to 50 million you will have options to go after! Epic Termination will be updated to get better and better at and over 10 million XP.

2) Increasing the level cap to level 40. You will be able to get a new level above 30 for each 2 million XP you gain after 5 million XP ( ER4 threshold ). So once you get ER4, you will be accumulating XP towards Level 31+ up to 40. The scale would be as follows:

Yep, as long as it is stable and works out good on BETA. Alot of testing is going to be done before we actually turn something like that live.

Did you contact PainOfDungeonEternal by any chance? He's done this already so it would be worth it to ask for his advice. I think that his server's dead now(I could be wrong), so he might just give away his code.

He has the whole system up for grabs on social Bioware and has emailed me with alot of details about a month or so ago. I am actually going to reach out to Tolen from Fallen Empire for some inside information since they adopted level 40 progression.

I like this idea, even though I don't have any toons that have ERed yet. Nevertheless, if there is life after ER4 I will endeavor to get at least one toon all the way there (eventually)!

So, what is the concept of progression past ER4? I know toons that ER can change classes, feats, etc. during the ER process. Would they then progress with their ER4 as a baseline for the rest of their levels 31-40?

You can relevel at any time, it doesn't require an Epic Relevel (ER) to change feats classes, etc.

Update!

I got the level cap working to level 40 perfectly.

On another note, this patch has the real fix for uncanny dodge, so that will be one immediate benefit that we hadn't counted on.
