Gnarl Curl - Area Updates
*New repeatable quest

--Temporary Journal Lines:
--Server Transitions or Reboots Clear Progress.

*New Boss Map (Brian: Teamshare Folder)
--One Attempt per player to interact (qualification of prerequisite quests required)
--PARTY pull. (players can rinse-repeat per character for re-entry per reboot)

NOTES show

The current Gnarl Curl map counters should fire at a certain number of kills per racial type. You need to collect the journals and turn-in the kill quests for all 7 racial types to get access to the Boss(s). All journals award on party basis, so tag-along-play works. Each applicable player should be able to pull their respective party to the "Boss Map". Only once per reboot per applicable player.

There are three bosses, and on enter it is randomly decided which boss and racial faction you will face. Yuan-ti, Orc, or Goblin. All fierce in their own way.

This will be my first repeatable quest line and I'm eager to work out the bugs. Please bear with me as I work through the beta on this one. I hope to learn and expound on this experience with the help of "all the feedback I can get". Please let me know!!!

Notes show

The Brook portal will start with entry to this layer once it clears beta. It is rated for a lesser difficulty, (CR 31-33), and players will delve downwards. This is the first of (3?) a few planned layers, with current Eon level being the most difficult (deepest) level. In addition to 12 new monsters for this layer...

This level boasts:
Traps that reset / recover on the floors
Secret Doors
Door Driven Spawners
Trigger Driven Spawners
Gizmo Spawners
Chests (34! of them!)

Eon Death script should now make a portal to Lith My'athar.

Either way, we shall see if this makes it through. There are as many reasons to allow it through as their are to pull it and whatever the decision it will be probably my last hand at messing with a very well done palate of PrCs & the bard class. It really doesn't need much messing with.

1) Arcane Trickster, 2 ranks, 1 + 1 for 5 levels (level 1 & 6)
2) Bladesinger, 5 ranks, every odd level.
3) Heartwarder, 1 rank per level.
4) Harper Agent, 1 rank per level.

1) Caster Level and Dice Check EX bonuses removed.
2) This should equate to a 30-45 DC reduction to spells and dice.
3) Harsh casting is still a possibility.
