The Realms of Trinity respects the privacy of its online visitors and recognize the importance of providing a secure environment for them. We have adopted a site-wide online Privacy Policy that guides how we collect, store, and use the information you provide us. This Privacy Policy details how Realms of Trinity safeguards the privacy of its online visitors and does not apply to information that may be collected by Realms of Trinity offline. Please note that when leave the Realms of Trinity web site to other or social media websites, such as google+, Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube, this Privacy Policy does not apply to, and cannot control the activities on, those other sites.

What Personal Information Is Collected?

Realms of Trinity only collects personal information on a voluntary basis. If an online visitor submits information to Realms of Trinity, it will usually take the form of either: (1) forum account registration, any information voluntarily posted on the aforementioned forum. We do not require this information to gain access to our sites, however, you will not be able to utilize certain services, or (2) features that require registration or receive materials such as notifications, newsletters, unless such information is provided. Please note that, depending on the Realms of Trinity site that you are visiting, many of the activities listed above may not be available and, as such, personal information may not be collected.

ROT Forums Specifics

Your information is collected via two ways. Firstly, by browsing "www.realmsoftrinity.com/forum" will cause the phpBB software to create a number of cookies, which are small text files that are downloaded on to your computer’s web browser temporary files. The first two cookies just contain a user identifier (hereinafter “user-id”) and an anonymous session identifier (hereinafter “session-id”), automatically assigned to you by the phpBB software. A third cookie will be created once you have browsed topics within “www.realmsoftrinity.com” and is used to store which topics have been read, thereby improving your user experience. We may also create cookies external to the phpBB software whilst browsing “www.realmsoftrinity.com”, though these are outside the scope of this document which is intended to only cover the pages created by the phpBB software. The second way in which we collect your information is by what you submit to us. This can be, and is not limited to: posting as an anonymous user (hereinafter “anonymous posts”), registering on “www.realmsoftrinity.com” (hereinafter “your account”) and posts submitted by you after registration and whilst logged in (hereinafter “your posts”). Your account will at a bare minimum contain a uniquely identifiable name (hereinafter “your user name”), a personal password used for logging into your account (hereinafter “your password”) and a personal, valid email address (hereinafter “your email”). Your information for your account at “www.realmsoftrinity.com/forum” is protected by data-protection laws applicable in the country that hosts us. Any information beyond your user name, your password, and your email address required by “www.realmsoftrinity.com” during the registration process is either mandatory or optional, at the discretion of “www.realmsoftrinity.com”. In all cases, you have the option of what information in your account is publicly displayed. Furthermore, within your account, you have the option to opt-in or opt-out of automatically generated emails from the phpBB software. Your password is ciphered (a one-way hash) so that it is secure. However, it is recommended that you do not reuse the same password across a number of different websites. Your password is the means of accessing your account at “www.realmsoftrinity.com/forum”, so please guard it carefully and under no circumstance will anyone affiliated with “www.realmsoftrinity.com/forum”, phpBB or another 3rd party, legitimately ask you for your password. Should you forget your password for your account, you can use the “I forgot my password” feature provided by the phpBB software. This process will ask you to submit your user name and your email, then the phpBB software will generate a new password to reclaim your account.

What Other Types Of Information May We Collect?

For some activities, we may ask you to create a user name and password and/or to provide other, non-personal information such as your age, date of birth, gender, and/or game and platform preferences; and, combine such information with your personal information. In addition, your web browser or client software may transmit certain geographic information to Realms of Trinity. Realms of Trinity may use this information to generate aggregate statistics about our user community. In addition, Realms of Trinity may use such information for security, system integrity (the prevention of hacking, scams, etc), or enforcement purposes.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

The personal information you provide Realms of Trinity will allow us to fulfill your order; alert you of new products or services, features, or enhancements; handle/route your questions or issues (Player Portal Issue Tracker); and/or notify you of promotions, or special events and offers. The Realmns of Trinity does not share any information gathered with any other vendors or affiliates as we are freely ran and self contained site. We no longer use Google Analytics, or other site tracking and metrics gathering services.

What Type Of Communications May I Receive?

The Realms of Trinity will only send automated messages from the Forum for account management, such as but not limited to, account resets, activations, account lockouts, issue/ticket status and updates, and password change notifications. Please be aware that websites with links to and from our sites may collect personal information about you. And remember, this Privacy Policy does not apply to, and cannot control the activities of, those other advertisers or websites.

With Whom May Your Personal Information Be Shared?

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law or in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against you if you are violating the Terms of Service or Use Agreements for the Realms of Trinity site, or may be causing injury to or interference (intentionally or unintentionally) with Realms of Trinity's rights or property, other users of a Realms of Trinity site or product, or anyone else who could be harmed by your activities. We also reserve the right to disclose your personal information if we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities. Realms of Trinity sites may also have message boards, forums, and/or chat areas, where users can exchange ideas and communicate with one another. When posting to a message board, forum, or chat area, please be aware that this information is being made publicly available online and the user does so at his or her own risk. For certain forums, anyone posting or replying to a post may be doing so using their full first and last name with the option to also display the name of their primary geographic location and affiliation. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

What Choices Do I Have Regarding The Collection, Use, And Distribution Of My Personal Information?

Realms of Trinity allows you to control the way that we use personal identifying information that we might obtain. At the time you provide personal information, Realms of Trinity may give you the option of declining any future offers or information about new products, or services. In addition, many of the "mailings" Realms of Trinity may send you, such as newsletters, have procedures within them to cancel the receipt of any future mailings. Lastly, you may be given the opportunity to "opt-out" of certain features or functionality.

What Are Cookies and How Are They Used?

Cookies are a feature of your web browser that allows websites to transfer bits of information to your computer for record-keeping purposes. A cookie stored on your computer can be used to "remember" things like your password, or that you have already registered. This allows us to speed up your future activities, saving the time you would normally spend entering information such as your password or registration. In addition, Realms of Trinity may use cookies to retrieve user information for security purposes.

What Are Internet Protocol Addresses?

An Internet protocol ("IP") address is the unique number assigned to your server or Internet Service Provider ("ISP"). Realms of Trinity may track such IP addresses for system administration, security purposes, or to prevent our servers from being abused.

What Do I Do If I Want To Correct Or Delete My Personal Information?

You may update your personal information at any time by logging in and going to the "Profile" section of our forums on the top right. If for any reason you are concerned with the way we are using your personal information, or to request that we delete such personal information, please contact us via email us at bsb5652@gmail.com. We will respond to any request for access within 30 days. In some cases, we may not be able to delete your personal information and will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Please note that the deletion of your data will lead to the termination of your account and applicable online features.

How Secure Is My Personal Information?

Realms of Trinity has taken steps to assure that all information collected will remain secure and in its original form, i.e. free from any alteration. As such, access to all personal information is strictly controlled. We use industry standard, SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to assure that third parties to whom we transfer any data will provide sufficient protection of personal information. We will retain your information for as long as needed to provide you services. By using this website, you signify your consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use this site. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time, so please check back periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes. If we make a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the change on this website and in this Privacy Policy.
